Francisco Martínez
Francisco Martínez is a Chilean dancer, actor, and choreographer who studied acting at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago. Based in Berlin, he works as a freelance dancer and choreographer and is currently a choreographic assistant with Sasha Waltz & Guests. His artistic work explores the intersection of dance with other disciplines, drawing
inspiration from visual art, architecture, design and anthropology. Since 2013, Francisco has been a dancer with José Vidal & Cía. In 2019, he assisted with the choreography for »Emergenz« at Kampnagel in Hamburg. He also contributed to the film »Ema« by Pablo Larraín, which was showcased at major film festivals. In 2020, he premiered his duo »Blue« in Berlin, later shown at the ACT Festival in Bilbao, Spain, in 2022. Since 2022, he has worked as assistance direction for Sasha Waltz & Guests.
