Stylianos Tsatsos
Stylianos Tsatsos is a freelance dance performance and visual artist born in Athens, Greece in 1990. His studies began in the UK; initially, in Dartington College of Arts, based on devised theater/site specific and visual arts as major courses. He continued his studies at the Falmouth university, academy of music and theater arts, receiving a bachelor of arts in theater performance with choreographic practices. In 2015 he graduated from the Greek National School of Dance. Since then, he has danced repertories and collaborated with choreographers like Akram Khan, Andonis Foniadakis, Russel Maliphant, Anton Lachky & others. In addition, he has created choreographic and visual art works in collaboration with Palais de Tokyo and Fluxum foundation/ flux laboratory, 2017. In 2018, he showcased his kinetic installation performance work »WATERBOTTLEBODYFALL« at the national museum of contemporary art (EMST Athens) as part of the Arc for dance festival. for 2019-20, Stylianos was an artworks fellow and participates in the SNF artist fellowship program. In parallel he is photographically documenting performances and he is actively focused on artist's working rights. Since 2016 he is a dance artist at Sasha Waltz & Guests.
