Maria Marta Colusi
Maria Marta Colusi, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a dancer, teacher and choreographer. She completed her dance training in the USA and France. She was a member of the contemporary ballet company Teatro General San Martin.
At the same time, she has developed her own interdisciplinary choreographic work with the composer Edgardo Rudnitzky:
»Displaced / Angekommen« (2022) , »Sink« (2019, »Querandi« (2017), »Tone undertow« (2015), »Topo« (2014), »Witness« (2011).
Her works have been shown at various venues such as Radialsystem, Dock11, Kunst Festival des Arts/Belgium, Berliner Ensemble, Acud Theater, Lido Theater, Theater Kapelle, Schloss Solitude, ZAK-Zitadelle Spandau/Germany, Pilharmonia Szczecin/Poland and Centro Artistico it Grattaclelo/Italy.
She has also worked with various directors and visual artists: Ola Mafaalanni/Netherlands,
Alejandro Tantanian/Belgium, Luciano Suardi/Argentina, Kazuki Nakahara/Japan and Dominik Lejman/Poland.
In the field of education, she leads workshops and masterclasses at the HZT BA, the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst »Ernst Busch« and the Universität der Künste UdK, Tanzfabrik-Dance Intensive Programme, Staatsballett Berlin, b12 Festival Berlin, Danceworks, Soudance Festival/Germany, University in Arts UNA/Argentina, Maslool dance School/Israel, Lab Colombo-Goethe Institut/Sri Lanka, PRODA/Norway, Institut del Teatre ITI/Spain.
Her work has been supported by Neustart Kultur Dis-Tanz-Solo, Dachverband Tanz Deutschland e.V., Kulturprojekte Berlin, INITIAL 1 & 2 der Akademie der Künste, TakeCare-Darstellende Kunst, Einstiegsförderung der Senatskanzlei - Kulturelle Angelegenheiten Berlin/Germany and Fundacion Antorchas/Argentina. She has been dancing with the company Sasha Waltz & Guests since 2003.
