Pia Maier Schriever
Pia Maier Schriever, born in Stuttgart, lives and works as an architect and set designer in Berlin. studied architecture and design at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart and the Bartlett School of Architecture in London. In 2004, she opened her own Atelier for Architecture and Set-Design in Berlin. Besides her architecture projects she creates abstract large format sets for theatre, opera and dance. In 2013 Pia Maier Schriever received an artist’s scholarship from the Deutsche Akademie Villa Massimo in Rome. 2016 she founded Rustler Schriever Architects in Berlin with the main emphasis on museums and cultural projects. Her set designs are part of the repertoire at the Staatsoper Berlin and the Deutsche Oper Berlin. She has worked with Sasha Waltz for many years.
