Peggy Grelat-Dupont
Born in France, Peggy Grelat-Dupont studied dance at the Paris Opéra Ballet School, then worked seven years with the Paris Opéra Ballet Ensemble, performing classical ballets such as »Swanlake«, »La Bayadère«, »Giselle« and also getting involved with modern choreographers (Maurice Béjart, Roland Petit, Dominique Bagouet, Pina Bausch, Mats Ek). She later travelled to join the Frankfurt Ballet for five years under the direction of William Forsythe. In 2003, she went to Montréal, Canada, to work with Edouard Lock and his Company »La La La Human Steps« on his choreography for Rameau’s »Les Boréades«. Afterwards Peggy Grelat-Dupont returned to France, to dance in the Lyon Opéra Ballet. Then she joined the company of Maguy Marin for four years to dance repertoire pieces and collaborated on some of her new creations (»May B« »Umwelt«, »Turba«, »Description d'un combat«). Peggy Grelat-Dupont has been working as a freelancer since 2011, participating in projects with various choreographers such as Carolyn Carlson, Fearghus O'Conhuir, Ben Aim and Boris Charmatz. Peggy Grelat- Dupont dances since 2013 with Sasha Waltz & Guests.
