Let Amsterdam Dance - an »In C« community project
On 15 June, residents from all eight districts of Amsterdam danced »In C« together on the stage of the Dutch National Opera & Ballet - accompanied live by the Dutch Ballet Orchestra and a student ensemble from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. The choreography is now transferred to the Dutch National Ballet and will be performed on June 25. 26. and 28.

As part of Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary
Over the past months, a group of residents from each of Amsterdam’s
eight districts - of all ages and backgrounds, with or without dance experience - learned a section of Sasha Waltz' »In C«. Each group first presented its own unique performance at a festive (and free) event in their district end of May. On 15 June, all groups united for one spectacular final performance on the stage of Dutch National Opera & Ballet.
