»In C« at the International Book Fair in Mexico

Tuesday, 28 November 2023, the choreography »In C« by Sasha Waltz to the work of the same name by Terry Riley will be presented at FORO FIL (Feria Internacional del Libro), the main stage of the Guadalajara International Book Fair. The performance is part of the programme of the European Union, which is the guest of honour at FIL 2023. Six dancers from Sasha Waltz & Guests will perform the choreography together with six Mexican dancers from Tijuana, Mexico City, Guadalajara and Mérida to live music directed by Sergio Ramírez Cárdenas. 

Many thanks to MOVES (Movimiento Escénico) and the dancer Aladino Rivera Blanca for liaising as well as the Goethe-Institut Mexico and the Federal Foreign Office for their support. In collaboration with the Directorate of Culture of the University of Guadalajara.
