Touring Sasha Waltz & Guests
Since the premiere, the company Sasha Waltz & Guests has performed the piece over 100 times in a total of 12 countries and 28 cities – with both recorded and live music. The company for this has worked with a wide variety of musical ensembles, including the New York formation »Bang on a Can« (Berlin, New York and Rotterdam), the Mahler Chamber Orchestra (Berlin), the Ensemble Musikfabrik (Bonn, Berlin and Metz), the Italian ensemble Casella (Rome and Reggio Emilia), the well-known Danish ensemble Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen (Copenhagen), the Swiss Post-Industrial-Band »The Young Gods« (Hamburg, Berlin, Dresden and Vienna), the renowned Ensemble intercontemporain (Paris), the Staatskapelle Weimar, the Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Mainz, the London Sinfonietta, Philzuid as well as international musicians of a wide variety of musical styles.
